Help for Cleveland

Dear Friends around the world,

The Usus Antiquior site comes to you from the city of Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States of America. We are blessed to have thriving Latin Mass communities here.

In May 2015, some generous people in our city founded a new Catholic radio station which broadcasts 24 hours a day on 1260 AM. The station is a radio affiliate of EWTN, the Eternal Word Television Network, and is called AM 1260 The Rock. (“The Rock” refers to Saint Peter and his successors, not rock ’n’ roll. It also refers to St. Peter The Rock Media, the non-profit organization that operates the station.) “The Rock” is a wonderful source of hope and clear Catholic teaching in a city that has been in great need of both for a long time. It can reach about 2.4 million people.

However, AM 1260 “The Rock” is in great need of financial help to survive its present start-up phase. It is a “listener-supported” radio station, which means that it does not receive very much commercial advertising revenue, and it either survives on gifts and donations from benefactors, or it doesn’t survive at all.

Even if Cleveland is not your city, please consider supporting the Catholic radio station that sustains the Latin Mass communities that bring you these Propers, by making a gift of any amount, large or small, one-time or recurring, to AM 1260 “The Rock” in Cleveland, USA. Tax-deductible donations can be made here: You can listen to the station here:

We pray God’s blessings on you, your pastors and your families and communities!
