* This is an updated version of this post. The previously published “Votive Mass for the Unity of the Church” has been corrected. The link below provides the corrected edition.

Hello, friends. Greetings in our Lord Jesus Christ.

An ordo for the 2020 liturgical year (which begins on Sunday, December 1, 2019) is available at www.propria.org/ordo-2020/.

The last three days of October have always been good days for offering Votive Masses.  Propers are now available here for two Votive Masses which are especially timely for this highly troubled month for the Church (and hence for the world) that is now drawing to a close:  the Votive Mass for the Forgiveness of Sins and the Votive Mass for the Unity of the Church.  Please urge your Pastor to offer these Masses frequently and soon.

With much gratitude to Maternal Heart of Mary Church near Sydney, Australia, the 2020 ordo includes links to English-language propers for many non-Sundays during the year for which Usus Antiquior did not previously have propers.

There is a new page on the site called “Additional Resources” containing copies of the 1962 Missale Romanum, an English translation of the rubrics of the 1962 Missal (the Rubricæ generales Missalis), and two editions of the Liber Usualis, one of which includes English-language translations of most of the liturgical texts.

May God bless us all.  Please continue to pray for Holy Mother Church and for the Pope.
